RICHMOND — Bobby Wayne Clowers, 56, of Kingston, passed away suddenly Friday, February 22, 2013, at his home.

He was born November 13, 1956, in Estill County to Lucy Anita Riddell Clowers and the late Bobby Gene Clowers.  He became disabled in 2004 but had been the owner and operator of a grocery store.  Bobby was of the Holiness faith.

In addition to his mother, Lucy, he is survived by: his loving wife, Joy Ann Harris Clowers; two daughters, Elizabeth Clowers and Melissa Proctor (Eddie), both of Berea; one son, Michael Hayes (Jennifer) of Berea; five sisters, Pam Eason (Rick) of North Carolina, Sandy Thacker (Danny) of Garrard County, Sheila Clowers of Richmond, Debbie Smith (Terry) of Waco, and Sonya Jackson (Doug) of Richmond; two brothers, Phillip Clowers of Berea and Randy Clowers (Juli) of Richmond; grandchildren Samantha “Paige” Proctor, Kyle Proctor, Elijah Hayes, MaKayla Hayes and several nieces, nephews and great nephews.

Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
