BEREA — Michael Ray Lipps, age 61, husband of Kathy Lipps, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, in his Berea home.

Michael was retired from Square D Company and a member of the Crestview Holy Sanctuary in Berea. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, William and Zudia Elam Lipps.

Michael is survived by: his wife, Kathy Tucker Lipps of Berea, and their children, Chris (Christine) Lipps of Corbin, Patrick Lipps of Berea, and Jordan Lipps of Berea; a grandson, Larry Lipps; and sisters Janice (Greg) Blevins, Judy (Paul) Blanton, Margie (Bill) Sandusky, Lucy (Gaines) Cummins; his stepmother, June Lipps; stepsisters Marietta (Jerry) Maggard, Pamela (Bill) McCoy and Darlene (Gene) Wooten; brother-in-law John (Lee) Tucker; sister-in-law Angela Tucker; and two special nieces, Isabella and Sophia Tucker.

Funeral services for Michael will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Crestview Holy Sanctuary with Bro. Harold Eads and Bro. Achee Eads officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Sandusky, Trenton (Jeannie) Clontz, Kenny Sandusky, Jarrod (Paula) Taylor, Aaron Blanton, Tim (Jennifer) Alexander and Jason (Ashley) Neil. Honorary pallbearers will be Wendell Farmer, George Bishop, Don Chappell, Tony Wilson, Tony Shouse, William Thomas, Billy Seals, Lamont Cornelison, Gordon Eads, Roger Parrett, Terry Harris, Jimmy Lamb and Mike Elliott.

Visitation will be Friday after 5 p.m. at Crestview Holy Sanctuary.
