RICHMOND — Donald Farris “Buddy” Hall, 77, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013, in the Compassionate Care Center.

He was born in Madison County on December 13, 1935, to the late John Farris and Anna Mae Trower Hall.

He was a self employed painter and attended the First Church of the Nazarene.

Buddy is survived by: one son, Tony Hall; one daughter, Donna Hall Vargas (Lamberto); one sister, Phyllis Weston (G.M.); his sister-in-law, Patricia Bush; four grandchildren, Erik Vargas (Lisa), Toni Lee Vargas Gaines (Dee), Nikki Lawson, Bobbi Jo Hall; four great-grandchildren, Lukas Vargas, Logan Vargas, Keira Hopkins and Abby Hopkins.

He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Lee Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Chaplain James Demaray officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Eddie Dean Henderson, Rusty Day, Jamie Lynn Roden, Steve Cecil, Rene Vargas and Colby Arnold.
