Red House — Billye Rae Turpin Parke, of Red House, Kentucky, the wife of Garnett Parke, passed away Wednesday morning, December 18, 2013.

A lifelong resident of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew H. and Evelyn Wells Turpin.

She was a graduate of Madison Central High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. She was a devoted member of the Red House Baptist Church.

She is also survived by her loving family: three sons and one daughter: Mike (Glenda), Doug (Debbie), Francette Durbin and Keith (Betty); grandchildren, Phillip Parke (Amie), Christina Thomas (Roger), Holli Hatmaker (Drew), Amanda Rydberg (Joe), Neil Durbin and Lee Parke; great-grandchildren, Whitney, Emily and Luke Thomas, Grace Rydberg, Logan, Hallie Mae and Cale Parke.

She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of great-grandbaby, Hatmaker, in the spring.

She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Bobbie Turpin Swinford; and niece Sheryl Cox (Rob), as well as numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sonny Turpin; and son-in-law, Garry Durbin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013, at the Red House Baptist Church, 2301 Red House Road, with Dr. Deron Cobb officiating. Interment will be in the Parke Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church.
