RICHMOND — Nannie Pearl White Sapp, age 82, Richmond, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, in the Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.

Born in Sardis, June 21, 1931, to the late Garnett and Lenora Shafer White, she was a loving mother and homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Sapp, and a son, Jackie Sapp.

She is survived by: four sons, Ernie Sapp, Billy Sapp and Timmy Sapp, all of Ohio, and Tom Sapp, of Mt. Sterling, Ky.; five daughters, Francis Short, Carol Austin, Bonnie Evans and Cindy Williams, all of Ohio, and Lynn McWhorter, of Berea, Ky.; a sister, Ida Mitchell of Nicholas County, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Sunday, July 7, at Robertson County Funeral Home by Pastor Virgil Grant with visitation at 1 p.m. and funeral services at 3 pm. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery.
