Jane Moberly Boyd passed away Friday, May 17, 2013, at her home in Richmond, Ky.
She was born August 13, 1948, in Fayette County, Ky., to the late Russell and Chlotile (Reynolds) Moberly.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of First Baptist Church on the Bypass. As a retired kindergarten teacher from Kit Carson Elementary School, she left many good memories with many students. As a Bible school teacher and as a volunteer missionary, her eternal legacy will continue from many State Mission Trips and International Mission Trips, which include Panama, Malta and Portugal. “Well done thy good and faithful servant.”
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ron; two children, Cassie (Brent) Baldwin of Richmond and Joshua (Amanda) Boyd of Charlestown, Indiana; four grandchildren, Chase Baldwin, Tilly Baldwin, Dawson Boyd and Alexis Boyd; one sister, Kathy Moberly, of Louisville.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 425 Eastern Bypass, with Pastor Bill Fort officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Chris Bomar, Andrew Bomar, Joe Reynolds, Danny Reynolds, Billy Collins and Johny Collins.
