RICHMOND — Oscar Clifton “Roscoe” Combs, 61, husband of Martha Long Combs, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Combs was born on July 27, 1951, in Owsley Co. to the late William Henry and Martha Crawford Combs. He was a retired truck driver for the Central Kentucky Mixed Concrete Co., and attended the Church of God.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two sons, William and Jimmy Combs; five sisters, Wanda Thacker, Irene Alexander, Lorena Morfield, Nettie Johnson, and Lynn Foster.

He was preceded in death by his sister Velma Baker.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. William Warfield officiating.

Burial will follow in the Combs Cemetery, Owsley County.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, and after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Foster, Jason Cole, David Warfield, Core DeBoard, Anthony DeBoard, Russell Warfield, and Donald Foster.
