Ellena Faye Robinson Reynolds, 87

RICHMOND — Ellena Faye Robinson Reynolds, 87, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Telford Terrace in Richmond.

She was born March 18, 1926, in Beattyville, Kentucky, to John Henry and Cora Belle Robinson, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and was named Woman of the Year in Hazard, Kentucky, in 1989. She was a former member of the Lothair Baptist Church in Hazard and was currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Richmond.

Survivors include: her husband, Keith William Reynolds of Richmond; one daughter, Dawn Reynolds Farmer of Richmond; one son, Keith Reynolds Jr., (Kathie) of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Carolyn Beeler of Hazard, Kentucky; one brother, Fred Robinson of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren, Jared Reynolds, Seth Reynolds (Jamie), Keith Farmer (Kristie), Kristi Farmer Larkin (Kevin) and Katherine Farmer Sterrett.

She also leaves 10 great-grandchildren, Christian Farmer, Cameron Farmer, Colin Farmer, Jake Larkin, Paige Larkin, Jackson Sterrett, Belle Reynolds, Shade Reynolds, Oliver Reynolds and Lucy Reynolds.

Funeral service for Mrs. Reynolds will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at First Baptist Church, Richmond, with Pastor Bill Fort and Rev. Floyd Price officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the church.

Burial will follow on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, near Nicholasville.

Pallbearers will be Keith Farmer, Christian Farmer, Cameron Farmer, Kevin Larkin, Jared Reynolds and Seth Reynolds. Members of the BYKOTA Sunday school class will serve as honorary bearers.

Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice Care Plus, 208 Kidd Drive, Berea, KY 40403 or to the Alzheimer’s Association

    She was retired from Brown & Williams Tobacco Company in Lexington. She was a faithful listener of the WLJC Gospel Broadcast and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

    Gary Lee Winburn, 69, of Richmond, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
    A native of Richmond, Kentucky, he was the son of Marcus and Johnetta Arch Winburn, both of whom preceded him in death. Gary had been an employee of the former Begley Drug Company and was a retired employee of Car Quest Auto Parts Store. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Richmond.
