Stanford — Juliane W. DeZarn, 79, of Stanford, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Select Specialty Hospital of Lexington.

Born Monday, Nov. 27, 1933, in Ashland, she was the only child of the late William Frederick & Paula Amelia Sachenweger Wiedekamp.

She was the widow of the late Major General (Retired) Robert L. DeZarn, who preceded in her in death on May 28, 2009.

Juliane was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ashland, where she was, for many years, a member of the Alter Guild. Juliane will always be remembered for the love and devotion she showed her family. She was a homemaker and loved to sew and do needlework.

Juliane leaves behind: three children, Debra Lynn DeZarn (partner-Carol-Ann Smith) of Maryland, William Robert DeZarn (Cindy) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Angela D. Todd (Jason) of Stanford; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Huskey (Drew) and Christopher DeZarn, both of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Fox Funeral Home in Stanford. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the funeral home with Rev. Mark A. Kloha officiating the service.

Burial will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday in College Hill Methodist Cemetery of Waco, Ky.
