BEREA — Linda Deatherage, 57, twin sister to Nancy Kirk of Berea, died Thursday Oct. 25, 2012, in the Compassionate Care Center of Richmond. Linda is the daughter of the late Mark and Stella Mae Lakes Ambrose, she had been a waitress and nurse’s aid and had attended church in Richmond and Berea.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John D. Bowles, Donnie L. Bowles and Roger Dale Johnson; and sister Thelma McClellan.

Linda is survived by: her children, Brandon Deatherage, Zachary Deatherage and Jason Ambrose (Michelle); brother Bobby Ambrose; sisters Nancy Kirk, Betty Crutcher and Anna Mae McCollum; and granddaughters Dahlia and Emilee Stella.

Funeral services for Linda will be Monday Oct. 29, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Ambrose, Zach Deatherage, Brandon Deatherage, Tim Kirk, Scott Johnson, Robbie Johnson, Chris Bowles, Josh Bowles, Brent Whittamore, and Sammy Crutcher.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home.
