RICHMOND — Joy Bennett Wilcox, 60, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, in the Hospice Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.

She was born December 20, 1952, in Stanton, Kentucky, to the late Orville and Magdalene Spencer Bennett. She was a medical assistant at Richmond Health & Rehab-Madison Manor and a member of the Church of God.

Joy is survived by: her loving husband, Wayne Wilcox of Richmond; one daughter, Marsha Estep (Donnie) of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Joan, Judy and Jean; two brothers, Charles Burt Bennett of Stanton, Orville Lee Bennett (Anna) of Beattyville; one sister-in-law, Rose Bennett of Stanton; and three grandchildren, Haley Renee, Taylor Nicole and Aiden Ray Estep.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jill, and a brother, Steve Bennett.

Services for Joy will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Jeff Wilcox and Donald Estep officiating. Entombment will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5 to p.m. Tuesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
