E. Edward Sanslow, 63, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, in his home.
He was born October 2, 1949, at McRoberts, Ky., in Letcher County to Gay Michael Sanslow and Edna Earl Hughes Sanslow, both of whom preceded him in death.
He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Kentucky University, served in the U.S. Army and the Army Reserve and was a former automobile auction manager.
Edward is survived by: two sons, Tyler and Brandon Sanslow, and their mother, Susan Sanslow, all of Richmond; one sister, Dr. Linda Fagan of Naples, Fla.; one brother, Gene Sanslow (Marsha) of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; two nieces, Gena Wexler and Jill Camper; one nephew, Michael Fagan; one great-nephew, Hunter Duff; as well as his cousins Boyd and Krista Watts and Bob and Jan Kinningham.
A celebration of Edward’s life will take place 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Larry Burton officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Walter Leo Liebengood, 57, was born December 17, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, and passed on September 26, 2013, as a result of a house fire at his log home in Richmond, Kentucky.
Walt embraced the country lifestyle donning blue jeans and a ball cap on nearly every occasion from yard work to graduations and arrived by pickup truck with his dog Buddy by his side. He believed anything could be fixed with duct tape but was a skilled carpenter and log home builder. He was kind to those in need and loved animals. Walt worked at Meijer from high school until his death and functioned as the store union steward for a time in Flint.

Ruth Elma Isaac, 89, of Berea, died suddenly Sunday, March 2, 2014. She is survived by her son, Delbert Leon Isaac, of Berea.

She was born May 22, 1922, to the late Carradine and Fannie Eades Wall. She was a well-known quilter who made over 100 quilts that she gave to family members and friends. She was of the Methodist faith.
