Doris Combs Dollins, 72

Paint Lick — Doris Combs Dollins, 72, of Cartersville Road in Paint Lick, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014, at her home.

Doris was born in Madison County to the late Charlie and Hattie Conn Combs. She was a retired cashier for Berea Hospital and member of Wallaceton Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clay G. Dollins, infant son, Matthew Kevin Dollins, and her siblings, William Earl Combs, Bradley Combs and Bernadean Thacker.

She is survived by her children, Clay W. (Paula) Dollins and Tracy C. (Carol) Dollins both of Berea; two brothers, Charles F. Combs and Roy Edward Combs; and two sisters, Edna Hensley and Magalene Allen. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Josh (Jessica) Dollins, Chrystah (Jeff) Mullins, Craig Dollins, Ashley (Keith) Price and Laura Dollins; and four great-grandchildren, Brycen and Brylee Dollins, and Reagan and Kimberly Mullins; and her loyal companion, Archie.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Pack officiating. Burial will follow in the Woods-Green Cemetery in Cartersville. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Josh Dollins, Jeff Mullins, Craig Dollins, Keith Price, Kenneth Allen and Michael Allen. Honorary bearers will be Samuel Allen, Barry Allen, Sammy Damrell, Harold Eden, Lother Baumann, Bobo Renfro, Doug Fritz and Ben Prewitt.
