Evon Medlock, 65

Richmond

IRVINE — Evon Jean Click Medlock, 65, of Norton Drive in Richmond passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in her home. She was born March 26, 1947 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Luther Elmer and Susie Smyth Click. She was a retired employee of the State of Kentucky and was a former property manager. She was a member of the Bybee Methodist Church where she served as pianist. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 438. She had lived in Madison County most of her life. She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Harless Hickam and husband, Darrell Townville, S.C.; two sisters Eva Claudette Moore of Richmond and Sharon Stepp of Richmond; one grandchild Ashley Hickam; her loving companion Gene Cruse Richmond; four special friends Melanie Seals of Richmond, Debbie Swineford of Berea, Renae Gentry of Richmond and Sue Campbell of Richmond.

She was preceded in death by two sisters Joyce Ashcraft and Mary Carlene Winkle and one half-brother, James Click.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Robert Stroup. Friends may call from 4 p.m. Saturday until service time with Eastern Star Rites at 6 p.m.  

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice of the Blue Grass.

Pallbearers are Archie Coffman, Melton Lafevers, Glen Richardson, Joe Curtis, Jason Cruse and Beau Cummins.
