Eva McQueen, 77

BEREA — Eva S. McQueen, 77, of Berea, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.

She was born in Madison County on June 15, 1935, the daughter of Corbin B. and Myrtle Richardson Smith.

She was a homemaker and the widow of Albert Bradley McQueen. Mrs. McQueen was a faithful member of the Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished her many friends.

Survivors include: two sons, Albert Bradley McQueen Jr. (Jane) of Lexington and Steve C. McQueen (Judy) of Berea; one daughter, Sheila M. McQueen of Berea; six grandchildren, Brad, Caitlin, Angela, Catherine, Elizabeth and Amber; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray A. Smith (Mary) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Cecil R. Smith (Betty) of Salina, Kan.

She was preceded in death by: one grandson, Jason Newby; three brothers, George Clyde Smith, James E. Smith and Billy Russell Smith.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at the Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church with Bro. Harold Eades and Bro. Harold “Aichee” Eades officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Fryer, Josh Green, Jason Neil, Jerry Alexander, Brad McQueen and Patrick Lipps.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Miles, Marvin Onkst and Bradley Lipps.
