Ida Todd, 84

Ida Todd, 84, mother of Roy Gene Todd, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.
Ida was a member of the Holiness Faith, and retired from the Parker Seal Company. She was born in Rockcastle County to the late Elijah and Susie Croucher Himes.
Ida was also preceded in death by: her sisters, Gracie Himes, Bertha Himes, Ellen Himes; her brothers, Elijah Himes Jr., William Himes; a niece, Sheila Smith and nephew Jeffery Himes. 
Ida is survived by: her son, Roy Gene (Anita) Todd of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Frank (Odessa) Himes of Mt. Vernon; her sisters, Reecie Chasteen and Hazel (Leon) Smith, both of Berea; her grandchildren, Billy (Verna) Todd, Tracy (Frankie) Blevins and Eddie (Amy) Todd; and nine great-grandchildren, Jamie, McKinzii, Trevor, Molly, Ally, Finley, Ellen, Tessa and Bo. 
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Himes officiating, Bro. Charlie Hembree reading the obituary and special words from Eddie Todd. Burial will be in the Davis-Witt Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Todd, Eddie Todd, Jamie Todd, Trevor Todd, Frankie Blevins, Mike Chasteen and Leon Smith.
Visitation for Ida will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Gary Lee Winburn, 69, of Richmond, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
    A native of Richmond, Kentucky, he was the son of Marcus and Johnetta Arch Winburn, both of whom preceded him in death. Gary had been an employee of the former Begley Drug Company and was a retired employee of Car Quest Auto Parts Store. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Richmond.

    Joyce Rhodus, 74, passed away Friday morning, April 11, 2014, at her home.
    She was born March 23, 1940, in Garrard County, Kentucky, to the late Jasper and Mary Stella Moore Prewitt.
    Joyce was a graduate of Buckeye High School, class of 1959. She retired from the Madison County Detention Center as a deputy jailer. She loved raising flowers, working puzzles and watching UK basketball.
