Juanita “Sissy” Sizemore Baker, 60

MADISON COUNTY — Juanita “Sissy” Sizemore Baker, 60, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, from the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond.

She was born on July 31, 1952, in Madison County the daughter of Tressie Rogers Sizemore and the late Luther Sizemore.

She loved her family and enjoyed attending the Richmond Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the Lancaster Road Church of God, where she loved to participate in church activities.

In addition to her mother, Juanita is survived by: one sister, Wanda Carpenter; two brothers, James Earl Sizemore and Cliffton Randall Sizemore; one niece, Jaclyn Smith; one nephew, Justin Carpenter (Tina); one brother-in-law, Rodney Carpenter; two great-nieces, Audrey and Samantha Carpenter; her dog: Fido; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Roy Sizemore.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Butch Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
