Diane Louise Walker, 60

Mt. Vernon

BEREA — Diane Louise Walker, age 60, of Mt. Vernon, died Thursday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

She was a native of Merchantville, N.J., and was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Berea and worked as a computer technician. She was actively involved with her children and community.

Diane is survived by: her husband, Charles Walker of Mt. Vernon; her sons, William Walker of Mt. Vernon, Dominic Gagliardi of Laurel Springs, N.J., Thomas Gagliardi of Mt. Vernon; her daughters, Casey Walker of Mt. Vernon, Sarah Troy of Deptford, N.J.; her parents, William and Doris Suhr of Millville, N.J.; her sisters,  Nancy Lindquist of Hammonton, N.J., Christine Watkins of Anchorage, Alaska, Kathleen Nolan of Sayville, N.Y., Teresa Woodworth of Midland, Texas; her brothers, William Suhr Jr. of Palatine, Illinois, David Suhr of Renton, Washington, Matthew Suhr of Medford, Oregon; grandchildren, Meaghan Troy, Gianna Gagliardi, Henry Gagliardi and Samuel Gagliardi.

 Funeral services for Diane will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at St. Clare Catholic Church with Father Michael Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in the Chasteen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Clare Catholic Church or the Susan G. Komen Fund.
