Harold E. Shelton, 58, of Red Lick, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Shelton was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on October 17, 1955, to the late Lee Roy and Hazel Marie Sproles Shelton.

Harold loved boating, throwing horse shoes and spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of the Holiness faith.

Survivors include: his daughter, Tiffany Marie Davidson (Joe Kelly Davidson II); sons, Gordon Shelton, and Paul David Cox (fiancé Deanna Johnson); six brothers, William Wesley Shelton (Lisa), Michael Lee Shelton (Joan), Johnny Ray Shelton, Kenneth Wayne Shelton, James Bert Shelton and Thomas Eugene Shelton (Patsy Annette); his grandchildren, Joe Kelly Davidson III, Shawn Michael Davidson and Wyatt Lee Davidson.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at the Combs Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating.

Burial will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery of Red Lick.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be his brothers: Mike, Tommy, Jimbo, Kenny, Wesley and Johnny Shelton.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Ricky Fowler, Lloyd Baker Jr. and Podge Osborn.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help cover final expenses.
