Leoma Brandenburg Frost, 85

RICHMOND — Leoma Brandenburg Frost, 85, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at Compassionate Care Center.

She was born February 17, 1928, in Fayette County, Ky., to the late Ethel (Hurst) and Barney Brandenburg and was the widow of C.T. Frost.

Mrs. Frost was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by: two sons, Jack Frost (Kathye) of Rock Hill, S.C., and David Frost, Richmond, Ky.; five grandchildren, Jonathan Frost (Tea), Indianapolis, Ind., Mychal Frost (Katie), Rock Hill, S.C., and Alexis Sutherland (Evan), Natalie Frost and Madelyn Frost, all of Lexington, Ky.,; and one great-granddaughter, Harper Jane Sutherland, Lexington, Ky.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: her stepfather, John H. Hurst; two sisters, Jeanne Lord and Scottie Welsh; and two brothers, Robert and Clifford Brandenburg.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, with Bro. Bobby Greene officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Combs, Parsons & Collins.
