Reatha “Sister T” Turner, 86, of Irvine, widow of Ewey Turner, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013.
She was born March 23, 1926, in Estill County, Ky., the daughter of Beechum and Dessie Parker Robinson.
She was a caring mother to her family. An active member of Abundant Life Ministries Church of God, she operated a soup kitchen in Estill County. She also participated in prison ministry and was very well thought of and loved.
Survivors include: three sons, Glen Gordon (Beverly) of Richmond, Randy Turner (Trish) of Estill County and Ronnie Turner, of Richmond; three daughters, Karon Meyer (Dennis) of Monroe, Ohio, Bonita Helfinstine of Richmond and Diana Durbin (Jeff), of Estill County; one brother, Iza Robinson; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Charlotte Jean Gordon, and a sister, Ruby Gordon.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the Abundant Life Ministries Church of God with Bro. Edwin Lainhart and Bro. Levi Lainhart officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Gordon, Lucas Gordon, Shawn Coffey and Paul Meyer.

A native of Richmond, Kentucky, he was the son of Marcus and Johnetta Arch Winburn, both of whom preceded him in death. Gary had been an employee of the former Begley Drug Company and was a retired employee of Car Quest Auto Parts Store. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Richmond.

Joyce was a graduate of Buckeye High School, class of 1959. She retired from the Madison County Detention Center as a deputy jailer. She loved raising flowers, working puzzles and watching UK basketball.
