WINCHESTER — Mattie Lee King, 88, the widow of Rev. Ide King, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

Mrs. King was born July 14, 1924, in Madison County, the daughter of the late Lee and Nola Fletcher King. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Winchester.

Survivors include one daughter: Teresa Diane Bates (Rev. Paul) of Winchester; one brother: David L. King (Francis); two daughters-in-law: Phyllis King and Doris Romick; 10 grandchildren, Darrell Agee (Phyllis), Gregory Agee (Susan), Rev. Christopher King (Candy), Melissa Pancake (Alan), Brent Osborne (Shyla), Sean Osborne (Jennifer), Amanda King, Stephenie Bates, Paul S. Bates (Amber) and Rachel Chambers (Kevin); 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by: two sons, Milton and Mike King; a daughter, Sue Osborne and several brothers and sisters, including Rolla King, Bonnie Richardson, Laura Tipton and Lillie George.

Her funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Bates and Rev. Christopher King officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Stevie King, Greg King, Kenneth Tipton, Jessie King, Ryan Clark and Pat Clark.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Robbie King, Donald King, Larry Richardson, Jack Richardson, David Tipton, Tommy George, Donald George and David Wayne King.
