RICHMOND — Janice Alene Pope Miller, 68, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in Baptist Health-Lexington.

She was born March 11, 1945, in London, Ky., to Arthur Cole Pope and the late Minnie Cecil Jones Pope. She was an adult education teacher, and she was a member of the Richmond Church of Christ.

Janice is survived by: her husband, Johnny R. Miller of Richmond; two sons, John Bartley “Bart” Miller (Stacy) of Lexington, Ky., and William Cole “Will” Miller (Amber) of Richmond, Ky.; one daughter, Marci Alene Miller Wray of New Albany, Ind.; three brothers, Gorman Pope (Harriet) and Alvin Pope (Reva) both of Lexington, Ky., and Leeman Pope (Alice) of Bowling Green, Ky.; four grandchildren, Lily Marie Wray, Katherine Blair Miller, Kirk Anderson Miller and Rylee James Miller. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Hall conducting the services. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
