Bobby Eldon Howard, 75, of Richmond, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, in his home.
He was born September 25, 1937, in Madison County, to Kirby Harold and Eloise Prewitt Howard, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was a retired facility service worker at Eastern Kentucky University and a member of Linden Street Baptist Church.
Bobby is survived by: his loving wife, Christine Neal Howard of Richmond; one son, Omer Eldon Howard (Brenda) of Richmond; two grandchildren, Timothy and Tyler Howard; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glyndon Howard.
Services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Pastor Michael Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Howard, Bryan Kim, Steve Sowers, David Sowers, Bill Way and Sam Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Howard and the employees of the EKU Carpenter Shop.
