Lela Turner Wilson, 82, of Bybee, wife of Denver G. Wilson, passed away Sunday morning at her home.
Mrs. Wilson was born September 1, 1931, in Owsley County, the daughter of the late Wilson and Lillie Wilson Turner.
She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Viney Fork Baptist Church but attended the Bybee United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: one son, Eugene Wilson (Mary); one daughter, Ada Wilson; one brother, Truman Turner (Jean); two grandchildren, John and Lauren Wilson; several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Ray, Rev. Robert Stroup and Rev. Harry Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Peck, Jerry Ingram, Donald Brattin, Robert Stroup, Pete Cain and Toby Honaker.
