Brock D. David, 50

Louisville — Brock D. David, 50, of Louisville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 6, 2014.

He was born November 27, 1963, in Milwaukee, Wis., the son of James E. David and the late Leonilla Mae Fischer David, “his Momma’s Favorite” and was a Catholic by faith.

Brock was the proud godfather of three boys, was an avid golfer and a very devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Leonilla Mae (Fischer) David.

In addition to his father, Brock is survived by: his loving wife and best friend, Diane Hansen David; daughter, Toni Frisbie; grandson, Spencer; five brothers, Jeff (Renee), Romy (Debbie), Greg (Sheila), Galen (Maria) and Blaise (Stephanie) David; 18 nephews and nieces and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 2 p.m. until time of service Tuesday.

    Delbert J. Turner, 87, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
    Delbert was born February 4, 1927, a son of Edmond and Mary Cleo Moberly Turner, both of whom preceded him in death.
    He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Kirksville Baptist Church. He retired from WestinghousePhillips Lighting.
