Joseph “Joey” Wayne Redmon, 33

RICHMOND — Joseph “Joey” Wayne Redmon, 33, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014, at his home.

Mr. Redmon was a native of Sikeston, Mo., a son of Donnie and Rita Murray.

He grew up in the Paint Lick Church of God, loved music and spending time with his friends and family. He was a loving father and enjoyed a very special relationship with his brothers and sister. Mr. Redmond was known for his loyalty.

He was an employee of GR Spring and Stamping.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, Donnie and Rita Murray, include: his son, Cody Joseph Ray Redmon; his fiancee, Jennifer Haddix; his brothers, Chris Murray and Willie (Melissa) Murray; his sister, Vanessa Murray; his nephews, Michael Young and Julian Mullins; his niece, Jaelynn Fryer; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends also survive.

Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the Heritage Funeral Home, 237 N. Second St. Richmond, with the Rev. Willie Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call anytime after 6 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Murray, Willie Murray, Darren Parden, Robert Inman, Timmy Lee Redmon and Jay Lynn Redmon.
