RICHMOND — Kenneth Dean Foster, 70, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013.

He was born in Madison County, Ky., June 25, 1943, the son of Burgin and Ada Renfro Foster.

Kenneth had served with the Richmond Police Dept. and the Lexington Police Dept., as well as with the Richmond Fire Dept. He attended Church on the Rock.

Survivors include: his wife, Bonnie Jean Northern Foster; two sons, Kenneth Foster, Jr. and Kevin Foster; a stepdaughter, Shelby Walker (Randall);  one sister, Brenda Foster; two grandchildren, Zebulan Simmons and Katherine Foster; three step-grandchildren, Tasha Thomas (Derek), Brooke Farthing and Paige Farthing; three great-grandchildren, Lexie, Kenzie and Paisley.

He was preceded in death by brothers & sisters, O’Dell Foster, Merill Foster, Lorena Foster and Lillian Foster Stocker.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Sarver officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Northern, Randy Northern, Randall Walker, Joshua Grissom, John L. Gadd and Ernie Gadd.
