Arber Coyt Owens, 87

RICHMOND — Arber Coyt Owens of Richmond, Kentucky, formerly of Williamsburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was 87 years, 4 months, and 25 days of age.

He was born on February 8, 1926, in Whitley County, Kentucky, to the late Dant Owens and Judy Smith Owens. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evodine Mayne Owens, and a grandson, Bradley Coyt Owens. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by: his two sons, Billy Owens and his wife Deborah of Lakewood, Colorado, and Wayne Edward Owens of Richmond, Kentucky; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Monhollen of Franklin, Ohio, and Ida Wall and Rosa Owens, both of Berea, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends also mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour Sunday, July 7, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Williamsburg.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Billy Owens officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mayne Cemetery on Poplar Creek in Whitley County.
