JoAnn “Margie” Taylor Tribble, 78, of Teakwood Drive, Richmond, died Monday, July 21, 2008, at the UK Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 11, 1929, in Harlan County, Ky., the daughter of the late Enoch and Dora Kelly Taylor. She was a retired employee of Westinghouse and Richmond Tool & Die, a homemaker and a member of the Red House Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband of 59 years, William Edward Tribble; two sons, Eddie Tribble, Jr., (Edna) and Adam Tribble (Della); one daughter, Joan Lee Smith (Carlos); her grandchildren, Felix Tribble (Melanie), Carlos Smith, Jr. (Bobbi), Daphne Hill (Scott), Kelly Tribble, Nicole Tribble, Ciara Tribble, Edward Myrl Tribble; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Ray Taylor and Joel Taylor; and two sisters, Pearl Lakes and Ethel Murphy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Tanner officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Joe Tribble, David Denny, Carlos Smith, Felix Tribble, Scott Hill and Billy Ray Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Murphy and Robert Murphy.
