Christine May Tussey, 87

Lexington

LEXINGTON — Christine May Tussey, 87, the much loved wife of the late Edgar Tussey, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at  Baptist Health, Lexington, Ky.

Mrs. Tussey was born February 9, 1926, to the late Jasper and Katie Davis May of Garrard County, Ky. Christine lived a long and happy life making the lives of those she touched brighter. 

She was an active member of the Porter Memorial Baptist Church, Lexington, Ky. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Survivors include two sons: Shelby Tussey, and his wife Connie, of Lexington, Ky.; Lloyd Tussey, and his wife Mitzi, of Richmond, Ky.; four grandchildren: Jeff Tussey, Jennifer Hisle, Ronnie Tussey and Matthew.

Private graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November, 22, 2013, at the Richmond Cemetery. A memorial will be held at a later date.

Combs, Parsons, & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Delbert J. Turner, 87, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
    Delbert was born February 4, 1927, a son of Edmond and Mary Cleo Moberly Turner, both of whom preceded him in death.
    He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Kirksville Baptist Church. He retired from WestinghousePhillips Lighting.
