RICHMOND — Jane Carol French, 64, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013, due to injuries she suffered in an automobile accident.

Mrs. French was born on June 25, 1949, in Madison County to E.B and Charline Laurant French.

She was retired from NACCO in Berea. She was a giving person who enjoyed working in her garden and attending auctions. She attended Madison Community Christian Church.

She is survived by: two sons, Rodney Rhodus and wife Susan of Berea, and Ronnie Rhodus and wife Vicki of Fort Worth, Texas; her brother, Byron French and wife Gayle of Winchester; seven grandchildren, Robbin Johnson, Mikayla Rhodus, Nathaniel Rhodus, Rebekah Rhodus, Gunnar Rhodus, Joshua Rhodus and Callie Rhodus; two great-grandchildren, Anthony Roe and Annabella Roe; her sister-in-law, Connie French; two nephews, Joshua French and Joe David Turner and wife Jeanna; two nieces, Sherry Buckler and husband Tommy, and Shawna Smith and husband Jerry; her first cousin, Linda Broaddus and husband Donavan; her best friend, Pat Delaney and husband Daniel; and several great-nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Mrs. French is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Rhonda Rhodus; and her sister, Joe Ann Turner.

A memorial service will be conducted 4 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
