BEREA — Ronald Alexander, 74, of Berea, passed away early Tuesday morning at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center.

Ronald was born Nov. 5, 1938, in Madison County to the late Luther and Minnie Cates Alexander. He retired from Concrete Materials Co. Mr. Alexander was a member of the Church of Christ on Goggins Lane, Richmond.

He is survived by: his wife of 27 years, Nancy Ramsey Alexander; one son, Ronald Alexander, Jr.; one stepson, Eric Lewis; one daughter, Connie Reeves (Steve); three stepdaughters, Teri Sebastian, Tami Marcum (Brent) and Sheri Truitt (Jamie); one brother, Mason Alexander (Clonzy); several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Mr. Alexander was also preceded in death by: one step-daughter, Amanda Ray Jennings.

The funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, with Bro. Jay Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow at the Madison County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Jonathon Alexander, Jamie Truitt, Nathan Lyinks, Timothy Lyinks, Christopher Mullins, and Benjamin Mullins.
