Lloyd Lamb, 77


BEREA — Lloyd Lamb, 77, of Berea, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, in St. Joseph Berea.

He was a lifelong resident of Berea, born Aug. 1, 1935, son of the late Joe and Mary Florence Branaman Lamb. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and member of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: five children, Ronald Lamb, Donna (Mike) Anderson, Charlotte (Alan) Dunn, Dean (Debbie) Lamb, Danny Lamb; five grandchildren, Brandy Rhiney, Chris Lamb, Brandon Lamb, Josh Lamb, Dakota Lamb; two step-grandchildren, Alana Dunn, Justin Dunn; five great-grandchildren, Deanna Lamb, Ryan Lamb, Tyler Rhiney, Dalton Rhiney, Cameron Rhiney; three step-great grandchildren, Shealyn King, Kylee Dunn, Sutton Dunn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Gabbard Lamb; nine siblings, Homer Lamb, Gilbert Lamb, Opal Wren, Mildred Phillips, Dora Whittemore, Ruby Lamb, his twin brother Floyd Lamb, Hubert Lamb, Jim Lamb.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Reppert Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Lamb, Brandon Lamb, Dakota Lamb, Chris Lamb, Josh Lamb, Joey Lamb. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Coffee, Roy Ingram, Buck Ingram, Billy Linville, Benny Gay and Jimmy Reed.
