Paris — Anthony Scott Caudill, 56, of Paris, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014, at the University of Louisville Hospital.

He was born October 18, 1957, in Morehead, Kentucky, to Oscar and Edna Mae Lambert Caudill, both of whom preceded him in death.

He was brought up in Clearfield, Kentucky, and attended Morehead State University where he received his associate’s degree in drafting and engineering, and where he attended Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God.

Scott was a product manager for Joy Global Mining in Millersburg, Kentucky. He was a huge animal advocate and loved animals, especially horses. He served as a judge for the National Reining Horse Association and was a member of the Long Rifle Club for many years. He was a great cook and enjoyed entertaining his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Joann Norris Caudill of Paris, formerly of Richmond; his daughter, Amanda Caudill-Mullins and husband, Eric, of Winchester; one stepson, Ryan Floyd of Richmond; one sister, Susan Bailey and husband, Shelton, of Liberty; two brothers, Roger Caudill and his wife, Marilyn, and Bob Caudill and his wife, Leta, all of Lindale, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Scott will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Max Molihan and Bro. Fred Livingood officiating. Burial will follow in the Norris family plot at the Richmond Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Floyd, Dan Hill, Grant Dail, Jack Flack, Jack Bailey and Jimmy Bailey.
