Raymond D. Taulbee Jr., 48

RICHMOND — Raymond D. “Bug” or “Big Un” Taulbee Jr., 48, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013, after arrival at Baptist Health-Richmond.

He was born August 1, 1965, in Madison County to Raymond Sr., and Ettie G. Lainhart Taulbee, both of whom preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sue Taulbee. He was a truck driver, a foster parent, and was of the Holiness faith.

Raymond is survived by: his wife, Deborah Gale Jennette Taulbee of Richmond; four sons, Michael Murry of Richmond, Jeremy Wolfe (Amber) of Indiana, James Davis (Roxann) and Daniel Davis (Amy), both of Alabama; two daughters, Libertie Murry and Tammy Corralejo of Richmond; four sisters, Ruth Culton (Gary) of Berea, Mary Combs (Tony Depew) of Woodbine, Kentucky, Betty Cornette (Brian Taulbee) and Patti Taulbee (Alan Cromer), both of Richmond; three brothers, Ronald Taulbee (Polly), Jackie Taulbee (Heather) and John Taulbee (Tina), all of Richmond; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Service for Raymond will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Alcorn and Bro. Kurt Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Taulbee Cemetery on Stoney Run Road in Madison County.

Pallbearers will be John Taulbee, Daniel Davis, Tony Depew, Gary Culton, Jackie Taulbee and Gary Alan Cromer. Honorary bearers will be Moss Ray, Andrew Shuck, Shelton Powell and Raymond’s nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
