Loraine Stewart Webb Bishop, 69, of Madison County, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the Charleston Health Care Center in Danville, Kentucky.
She was born February 27, 1944, to the late Edith Alexander and William Thomas Stewart. She was the wife of Robert Lee Bishop, a homemaker and member of the Revival Tabernacle.
In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by three daughters, Beverly Conner (Mark) of Berea, Bobbi Williams (Joe) of Berea, and Lorie Carpenter (Greg) of Richmond; three step-children, Michael L Bishop (Dott) of Kansas, Mark Steven Bishop of Richmond and Lisa & Todd McFarland of North Middletown, KY; two brothers, Russell Stewart (Marie) of Richmond and Tom Stewart Jr. (Jean) of Lexington; two sisters, Mary Louise Tevis and Betty Lear Brown both of Lexington, KY; four grandchildren, Molly Williams, Kacy LeeRaine Satterfield, Billy James Satterfield and Marshall Austin Carpenter; four step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Billy Wayne Webb; two brothers, Whitt Stewart and Charles R. Stewart; and two sisters, Maurene Stewart and Dixie Stewart.
Services will be Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home, burial to follow at Memorial Gardens with Bro. David Lamb officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2014, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joe Williams, Greg Carpenter, Beverly Conner, Roy Conner, Steve Tevis, Jason Green and Billy Satterfield. Honorary pallbearers will be brothers and grandchildren.
