Cookeville, Tenn — Jack Ray Williams, 79, of Cookeville, Tenn, died Friday, October 5, 2012.

He was a Berea, Kentucky, native born July 22, 1933, son of the late Edgar and Marie McKinney Williams.

Jack was a U.S. Navy Seabees veteran of the Korean War and had been involved in several businesses and organizations in Albany and Columbia, Kentucky. He was formerly part-owner and operator of Shamrock Stone Inc., president of the Bank of Clinton County, federal bank examiner with FDIC, member of Albany Lions Club, Life Member of VFW Post 6097 (Columbia, Kentucky) and active member of Albany First Baptist Church, where he had served as Sunday school teacher.
