BUTLER — Ethelene Parks Cahill, 92, of Butler, Ky., passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012. at Carmel Manor Nursing Home in Ft. Thomas, Ky.

She was born in Richmond, Ky, on November 19, 1919.  

She was retired from River Valley Nursing Home and was a Kentucky Colonel.

Ethelene is preceded in death by: parents Richard and Lucy Jones Parks; husband J.W. Cahill; brothers Andrew, John, Edward and Mariel Parks.

Survivors include: sons Bill Cahill, Falmouth, Ky., Jerry (Beth) Cahill, Butler, Ky., Mike Cahill, Batavia, Ohio, Ronnie (Bonnie) Cahill, Butler, Ky.; daughters Diane (Jim) LaFallotte,  Falmouth, Ky., Brenda (Rick) Meyer, Grants Lick, Ky.; brothers Dr. Clay Parks, Dry Ridge, Ky., Gene Parks, Richmond, Ky., Dr. Paul Parks, Bowling Green, Ky., Harold Parks, South Carolina, Charles Parks, Richmond, Ky.; sisters Anna Christen, Ft. Thomas, Ky., Lucy Reams, Richmond, Ky., Sue Slagle, Atlanta, Ga., Mary Lee Webb, Waco, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, Ky. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Final resting place will be at the St. Xavier Cemetery, Falmouth, Ky.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons
