Phyllis Marie Daniel Bowman, 65

RICHMOND — Phyllis Marie Daniel Bowman, 65, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Baptist Health-Richmond.

Mrs. Bowman was born September 27, 1948, in Oneida, Kentucky, to Roscoe and Josephine Robertson Daniel.

Her family referred to her as a “granny to the whole world.” She loved her family and children of all ages. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Bowman is survived by: two sons, David Bowman and wife Teresa of Dreyfus, and Ronnie Bowman of Richmond; two daughters, Margaret Perkins and husband Kevin of Richmond, and Tina Burton of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; three brothers, Marvin Daniel and wife Tammy, Roscoe “Junie” Daniel Jr. and wife Susan, and Irvin Daniel and wife Gwen; two sisters, Linda Taylor and husband Greg, and Charlene Graham and husband Billy Paul; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Bowman, Joshua Anglin, Trevor Sanders, Joseph Burton, Megan Perkins, Emily Bowman and Clara Bowman; and her great-grandson, Easton Lee Merida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jennings Clay “Sonny” Daniel and Joe Daniel; and her sister, Rachel Daniel.

The family has chosen private services.

Burial will be in the Bowman Cemetery.
