George ‘Junebug’ Rollins Jr., 80

RICHMOND —

George “Junebug” Rollins, Jr., 80, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013, after a long illness.

He was born in Madison County, Ky., on Nov. 8, 1933, the son of the late George W. and Mary Lee Agee Rollins

He was a retired employee of the city of Richmond and the widower of Alberta Agee Rollins. He loved to play pool and fish.

Survivors include: three sons, John David Rollins (Jeanie) of Richmond; James Lee Rollins (Megan) of Corbin and Darryl Wayne Rollins (Candy) of Lawrenceburg; one sister, Jo Ann Howard (Clifton Jones) of Richmond; eight grandchildren, John Jamison Rollins (Renee), David Scott Rollins (Sarah), Amanda Jean Caudill (Travis), James Lee Rollins Jr., Morgan Roberts, Molly Day, Micah Holman, Madison Holman; and four great-grandchildren, Jake Caudill, Emma Caudill, Anthony Bosley and Braylan Hughes.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Sowers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Clifton Jones, Vernon Sowers, Jack Sowers, Wayne Winkler, James Rollins Jr., and George Rosanbalm.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Sowers and Shirley Hendricks
