Genevieve R. Millar Morgan, 95, of Waco, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013, at The Terrace nursing center in Berea.
She was born in Iona, South Dakota, on January 1, 1918, the daughter of the late William E. and Agnes Rose Beeson Millar.
She had worked as a waitress and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include: her son, Dan Lowman and wife Carol of Redmond, Utah; her daughter, Peggy Lowman Powell and husband Wayne of Waco; two sisters, Lenora Nackard and Florence Millar; her daughter-in-law, Joyce Lowman; seven grandchildren, Linda Lowman, D.J. Lowman, Robert W. Lowman, Erin Orr and husband Mark, Daniel Lowman and wife Tina, Leah McKinney and husband Rick, and Rus Powell and wife Jolene; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by: two sons, William J. Lowman and Gordon W. Snyder; two brothers, Willard Millar and Bernard Millar; five sisters, Margaret Paxson, Joann Winegar, Mary Gorman, Edna Dunlap and Irene Smith; and a grandson, Cory Lowman.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Che Haselwood officiating.
Burial will be in the Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale Arizona.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
