Charles Tyree, 79
Charles Tyree, 79, of London, formerly of Berea, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at Baptist Regional Hospital in Corbin, Ky. Charles was the son of the late Charles and Fannie Kirby Tyree. He was a Dresser Industries employee and attended church at the Crestview Holy Sanctuary in Berea.
Charles was preceded in death by: nine brothers and sisters: Carma Clontz, Mary Gregory, Elizabeth Tyree, Geraldine Ochs, Don, Arthur, George, Matt and Talmadge Tyree.
Charles is survived by: his children, Talmadge Tyree of Hamilton, Ohio, Mary Elizabeth Wagers of London, Jean Willis of Berea, Robin Kidwell of Mt. Vernon, Brenda Lee Chasteen of Richmond and Rodney Tyree of Cartersville, Ky. He is also survived by: 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at noon at Crestview Holy Sanctuary with Bro Harold Eads and Bro. David Wagers officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Crestview Holy Sanctuary.
