Alma Williams, 99
Jessie Alma Reams Marshall Williams, 99, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday evening, December 2, 2008, in Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 6, 1909, in Mitchell, Oregon, to the late Perry and Della Mae Brock Reams, and was the widow of Johnie Marshall and Elmer Williams. Mrs. Williams was a retired employee of the Bluegrass Army Depot, and a member of Red House Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Marshall Wells, a son, Ronald R. Marshall two sisters, Minnie Elizabeth Denny and Eula Reams Wells, and five brothers, Walter, Sr., Eugene, Vernon, Russell, and Willard Reams.
She is survived by: a daughter-in-law, Judy Marshall; one sister-in-law, Jean Reams; one son-in-law, Otis Wells (Chris); six grandchildren, Pattie Marshall Collins (Steve), Susan Marshall Howard (Spence), Ronald L. Marshall, Marshall B. Wells (Ann), Sharon Wells Brennan and Leslie Wells Cottrell (Brent). Other survivors include: 10 great grandchildren, Avery Marshall, Claire Collins, Faith Collins, Sara Collins, Ryan Douglass Cottrell, Tyler Cottrell, Sara Wells Barrett, Curtis B. Wells, Kerri Wagner and Bradley Cottrell, as well as five great-great grandchildren, Kayla and Landon B. Wells, Alane Barrett, Austin Barrett and Brooke Barrett.
Services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2008, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Maynard and Rev. Butch Tanner officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday until service time at Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home.
