Nancy Carroll (Lewis) Foster, 66
Nancy Carroll (Lewis) Foster, 66, of Richmond Green Drive, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009, in the Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.
She was born on May 11, 1943, in Madison County, at Paint Lick, to the late Samuel “Sam” Lewis and Dollie Lee (Hiatt) Lewis. She also was preceded in death by her stepmother, Emma “Granny” Lewis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Chapel Wesleyan Church on Aspen Avenue.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Deena and Dollie Lamb, both of Richmond; two sons, Tony Lamb (Kim) of Berea, and Russell “J.R.” Lamb Jr. of Lexington; three sisters, Clara Dean Carpenter (Allison) and Maudie Howard (Paul), both of Kirksville and Mary Guthrie (Elbert) of North Carolina. She also leaves her grandchildren, Megan, Sabrina, Shawn, Olivia and Joshua Lamb of Berea; Samuel and Katelyn Johnson of Richmond; and Chris, Dre and Kennedy Lamb of Berea.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Bro. Tommy Masters officiating. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Chris, Dre and Shawn Lamb, Carl and Lonnie Foster and Ricky Cheeks.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
