Margaret Denny, 81

— Margaret J. Denny, 81, of Berea, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born August 2, 1926, in Hardin County, Ky., to the late John and Laura Oaks Wise, she was a homemaker and member of Hays Fork Baptist Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by: her first husband, Oscar Lakes; and her second husband, Robert Denny, Sr.
Margaret leaves behind: three sons, Shelby (Karen) Lakes of Stanford, Matt (Jeannine) Lakes of Berea, Robert (Mary Ann) Denny of Stanford; two daughters, Velma Wood and beloved son-in-law, Larry of Berea and Dora Justice of Georgetown; a brother, Edmund (Zana) Wise of Germantown, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by: three brothers, Walter, Woodrow and Noah Wise; and three sisters, Elsie Wise, Ella V. Staton and Eva Bowlin.
Services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. Vincent Carman officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday for friends at Fox Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and Larry Wood.
