Adelaide Kindred House, 99, of Stanton, formerly of Winchester and the widow of Clyde Kindred, died at 8:15 a.m. Sunday at Clark Regional Medical Center.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Elizabeth Turner Mullikin. Mrs. House was a homemaker, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jean Crouch of Winchester and Marcia Crouch of Powell County; two sons, Douglas Kindred of Paris and Rickey Kindred of Winchester; 11 grandchildren, Bonnie Jo Fischer of Frankfort, Richard Crouch, Kathy A. Frick and Vicky Dunn, all of Clark County, Tony Gene Willoughby, Michael Dean Willoughby and Danielle Kindred, all of Powell County, Mitchell Willoughby of Eddyville, Andy Kindred of Boyd County, Kelley Newkirk of Fayette County and Lynn Reed of Madison County; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Wayne Dunn and the Rev. Edwin Davis. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary will be the great-grandsons.
