Christine Williams, 85
Christine Williams age 85, widow of Lawrence Williams, died Saturday in Berea. Christine was a member of the Berea Church of God and Homemaker.
Christine was born in Livingston, Ky. to the late Lee and Maggie Milburn Wagner. She was also preceded in death by: her son, Charles Edward Williams; and her siblings, Lawrence Wagner, Comm Wagner, Edgar Wagner, Geneva Robertson and Ruby Whitt.
Christine is survived by: her children, Norma (Gordon) Sowers of Richmond, Michael (Diane) Williams of Berea, Gary (Rhonda) Williams of Richmond, and Wanda Carpenter of Lexington. Surviving grandchildren; Patrick Sowers, Douglas Sowers, Christopher Sowers, Mark Williams, Shawn Williams, Philip Williams, Garrick Williams, and Laime Williams. seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday May 13, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Berea Church of God, with the Rev. Stephen Hobbs, the Rev. Billy Medley and Joseph Barrineau presiding. Burial will be in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday at Lakes Funeral Home after 6 p.m.
