— Ronnie C. Morris, 66, husband of Charlotte Kelley Morris, passed away Friday afternoon at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Mr. Morris was born March 11, 1942 in Jackson Co., to Edwin and Bessie Hays Morris, both whom preceded him in death. He was retired from Rental Uniform Co. as a manager and was currently a PBC Bank Courier.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Morris is survived by: two daughters, Tammy and Ronda Morris, both of Richmond; one brother, Bobby Morris of Gray Hawk; one sister, Betty Reid of Berea; and two grandchildren, Kove and Morgan.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Morris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Rose and the Rev. Sam Sowders officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Fred Kelley, Sam Jackson, Earl Gullett, Jr., Harold Kelley, Dick Carr, John Howard, Gene Nicholas and Glenn Cummins.
