— Ethel Richmond Robinson, 89, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in her home. She was a native of Rockcastle County, Ky., and a homemaker. She was a member of the Scaffold Cane Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 15 years.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by: her husband, Ira Everett Robinson of Berea; her son, Lawrence (Pauline) Malicote of Berea; her daughter, Pam (Randy) Miller of Florence, Ky.; stepdaughters, Jerri (Jim) Farlow of Brandon, Fla., Linda Brown of McKinney, Texas; four grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Jesse James Richmond and Lucy Abrams Richmond; her first husband, Mart Malicote; her sons, Billy, Jesse and Harold Malicote; her stepdaughter, Barbara Yost; and three brothers; two sisters; and a grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Davis and Powell Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Harding officiating. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Vince Robinson, Jason Miller, Billy Linville, Jonathan & Michael Sizemore, Bobby Richmond, Robby Richmond and Don Richmond. www.davisandpowellfuneralhome.com
